Timo Hartikainen 548 Posted January 28, 2012 I was about to make some coffee this morning, but I noticed this beautiful sky and grabbed my camera and shot some frames. I wanted to include that plume of smoke to the photo, to make it maybe a little bit more interesting instead of plain colored sky. I shot it through window (three glass elements), but it didn't seem to affect much. I used quite old manual focus lens (K35/3.5 @ f5.6). Click the photo to view larger.. Link to comment

Todd Kowalski 2 Posted January 28, 2012 I like this quite a bit. Mixed feelings are brought forth with the beauty of the "slanting"sky and the presence of ominus smoke. Both make for a end result, a image that the viewer will spend some time looking at, far more time then would have been spent if the smoke were not there, I would conclude.Kind Regards, Todd Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted January 29, 2012 Hi Timo,An excellent scene , with a beautiful tones and the mystery of what the smoke is all about.I really enjoy seeing the very good lens from years past, placed into action in the digital world. As I have said many times, a fine lens from the past is often just as good (perhaps better) as today's releases.Best Regards, Mike Link to comment
