Hi Pierre  - I like the idea here - as it goes well with figure colour and the statue itself.

Good work - br Hannu

i hope you use different dilapidated backgrounds.  what if you want to put them together into a book someday.  you wouldn't want all the backgrounds to look the same.  best, j

Hi Pierre,

This outstanding work deserves to be duplicated as a sculptor or casting and displayed in a world class museum.

All the best my friend, Uncle Mike

Yes Gregory, it's in Skopje not far away from the grandiose monument  to Alexander The Great, with a lot of soldiers and lions around! At the time I took this picture it wasn't finished and didn't take pictures of the whole, even on the pictures of the horseman I had to remove some wooden planks in Photoshop!

Say hello to Verena!

You do such a fine job when editing and using layers Pierre. I have not yet, managed to blend them as well as you. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am  pleased to see you doing such fine work!

This one is particularily pleasing to me. While my Father did not 'shine shoes' he worked in Shoe Stores for more than 60 years. Always caring and attentive to people's feet. He took pride in his job, while it didn't make him the Salary he deserved, he worked hard to support my Mom and us children.

Needless to say, our 'shoes' always had to be shiny and 'scuffed' just was not acceptable!!

Warmest regards, Gail

I like here the tonality and your special combination of colors. Very well done, Pierre. I guess, it is an original combination next to the great horseman. I am sure, your sense of humor also is great. Regards.

Pierre, Beautiful picture. It is like a painting. The several color tones of brown related are very nice. You are an artist in photography! Regards Marco
