landscape Winter-pleasure

I commented on a shot that was taken later in this series and said it was my favorite.  I spoke too soon.  While that shot is excellent, I think this is even better.  The skier is in a perfect position and you caught him/her in just the right phase of the stride.  This has the entire tree (well, the entire trunk and most of the crown), plus we can see the undulating shoreline.  As in all in the series, the falling snow and generally gray light really contribute to the mood.  This is superb, and this photo alone would keep me very happy for a couple of weeks if I had taken it.  Very nice work.

Subject, atmosphere, composition, and color with that touch of red - perfect!
