Randy, this is amazing! I love the colors and the reflections in the smallest of bubbles.I'd love to know how you made this image and if you did anything major in post-capture editing. Just fantastic!

Thanks all!  Irene, nothing major in post, shot in raw, adjusting exposure to max, increased black levels a bit, about +10 to vibrance.  Shot with 180mm macro and 5DII, and using a 20x30 softbox 1600WS strobe at full power to allow for smaller apertures and increased DOF.  The main problem I encountered was camera/strobe to subject angle; I believe we want the camera exactly perpendicular to the soap film plane, but I could not find a combination of light and camera angle to allow that.  So focus across the entire image, left to right is difficult; so high aperture to increase DOF (and accepting softness due to edge diffraction).  These bizarre "tube marbles" begin to occur after waiting quite a long time - and you need to thicken the soap (I used glycerin).
