An interesting experiment using the mirror to double the apparent number of glasses involved.  The light source (chinese lantern?) takes on an interesting out of focus pattern.  I have obtained some satisfactory results by simply illuminating the wall behind a glass subject and shooting through it with no other light on the glass.  Something to try perhaps on an otherwise boring day.   :-)  Best, LM.
