Giovanni,

Laura is a beautiful girl. You have focused very well on her eyes. The composition is very good. You have cropped far enough into her right hand so that it isn't objectionable. Nicely done placement of Laura within the frame. Her make-up and manicure are excellent. The eyeliner under her eyes really makes her eyes stand out. She has very good specular highlights on her lips. I love her cute little teasing expression.

While the background is nicely neutral it is too sharp and busy. It draws attention away from Laura. It would be a stretch to justify this background for this subject. The hat works nicely for a snowy outdoor background, but a nude (I assume she is nude) doesn't go well with the background. Ask yourself if the background makes sense. It should enhance the subject in some way.

Be careful of split profiles. You do not want the tip of her nose to come close to touching the far cheek line. You want to make sure the far eye is either completely showing or not showing at all. You do not want to have the bridge of her nose cut into her far eye.

I don't really like the tiny little catchlight in the center of her left pupil. It looks like you have used the camera's built in flash as your main light. It would be better to use it for fill, if you use it at all.

You haven't run the harsh shadow from her left hand and forearm across her eye or mouth. This is a good thing, but it is still somewhat annoying.

I don't particularly like the bottom crop. Her left arm is fine, but the way she is leaning forward combined with the crop, her right breast looks a bit droopy. You have cropped a little far into her right elbow area. If you show more of where her right forearm connects with her right upper arm it will look more like one arm. Notice that if you look just at the bottom of the frame it appears there could be three or even four arms coming up from the bottom. If possible you want to show where all parts of the body connect to the other parts. The image can start to look rather strange if you isolate parts of the body. It can look like those parts belong to another person.

Nice shot,

Mark
