pnital 36 Posted January 20, 2012 Another dancer in the Happy Prince show, with the costume of one of the birds,( which are very rich and colotrful costumes of the show). Thanks for viewing/ Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted January 21, 2012 Pnina, I really like the textures of the feathery costume and tutu, and the way the black, grey and flesh tones work against the white background. The frozen movement with small touches of blur works very nicely. Also I like how we don't see any floor so we can only imagine how high he is in the air. He certainly looks as though he is soaring. Bill J Boyd 64,523 Posted January 21, 2012 Pnina...good work on capturing this bird in flight. Good work. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted January 22, 2012 Pnina, very good timing & exposure. Appears to me as if he is in flight over the snow. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted January 22, 2012 I agree, Pnina -- Lovely the way you captured ( and composed) the dancer in full flight... The extra space at the bottom of the photo emphasizes the flying movement even more for me. best, Marjolein Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 22, 2012 Tony, Bill, Amal and Marjolein. He was really jumping high from the ground ,and as I was waiting for itto happen it was the first frame I took of him. All the prices to the dancer! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 23, 2012 Excellent figure study, Pnina. I guess this is going to be used in promoting the latest offering of the dance company. The one small nit pick I have is with the blurred foot. Although in live performance it would be perfectly acceptable and may even give a boost to the aunthenticity of the moment, I don't think it's that desireable in studio work. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 24, 2012 Thanks again, you are right maybe abut the bit of blure, but it is in the middle of the jump and it is blurred a bit on his costume too...I think that it enhances the feeling of movement ,....it is not so easy ,and you are right that for promotion the other one was chosen.....
