I remember this day. It was beautiful and sunny, but so hot and

humid, and at least for me, a 'Sickening Heat'. Eager to use my

camera, yet knowing I would not last long in the sun. Yet nowadays,

I rethink things. The heat that I found so hard to endure some days,

is not what others are subject to. And in a complete contrast we had

a very cold day today, a soft snow started to fall early this afternoon,

and the next time I looked out the window, it was a blizzard. I could

not see the middle of my driveway. It was bitterly cold, and for a

moment, I longed for that hot day when I saw this bee, momentarily,

resting on my Clematis in the backyard. (Many thanks for your visits,

I do appreciate each one, sincerely, Gail)

Great shot Gail. And I know your sentiment when the winter weather really starts to get you down. When winter closes in around here I beat a hasty retreat to the numerous indoor sections of the botanical gardens around the New York metro area. There is nothing like walking into the building marked "tropical rain forest" and having to quickly unbutton your winter coat to keep from getting soaked from your own sweat!. The change also does "wonders" for camera lenses! Foggy...until everything equalizes.

This is a very uplifting photo....as I wait for a snowstorm to start around here tonight!!

A splendid shot of the bee. The colour of the petals is visually attractive & the soft BG blur & directional light have all added to the quality of the image.

Best regards.

Ahhh a Botanical Garden, that would be lovely in the middle of winter. 'Haven' from the elements and a 'Mental Health Moment'...don't we all need those!!!

Many thanks for your kind critique and support Warren!
