greg & verena,  well if one takes the time to enlarge this they will find it is actually a very lovely image.  rose looks as if it has been dried.  i wonder almost daily what you will come up with next,  since late fall or the ending of the summer flowers i have enjoyed your creativity working with the few possibilities left in the garden.  bravo!

Thanks - yes, it's been a challenge - I recently found a bunch of summer flowers I haven't posted yet - will try to do that before spring comes. We just saw a crocus blooming yesterday. Way early!

Very nice. There is beauty in this rose even when the flowering season is over.

I see similar things around my garden and look forward to the spring and fresh green shoots.

Best regards

Gareth.
