Nice work

That looks like water in the distance!  I'm struck by the very strong alternatives here -- much of the photograph is either black or white / near-white; there are relatively few mid-tones.  To my eye, that is much of what makes this rendition unique.  It's not what I would have tried, and therefore it gives me something to think about because I like this very much.

Actually that is water in the distance. It was very cold that February and snowed on and off, but a little more rainy down on the Racetrack. I am thinking about showing this print in the spring, but never showed it to anyone before posting it here.
