MrAndMrsIzzy 248 Posted January 16, 2012 As someone already said, this is indeed a nice peacfull image.Colors, lighting, reflection, etc. Don't know how possible it might've been, but I do believe shooting from a position that placed the boat a little more to the left (without losing the mountain on the right, and cropping up from the bottom a little, might've made for an improvement....Izzy Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted January 16, 2012 That is one great capture you got there. The colors are beautiful from top to bottom and the composition is very Nice and clean. I really like the reflection on the water to the right of the boat it looks like metallic gold. Very nice indeed. Alex Link to comment
jerrymat 3 Posted January 16, 2012 I agree with Ezra, mainly because the waterline (where the distant lake meets the base of the mountains, divides the vertical space in half exactly. This tends to set up a conflict in which the viewers brain cannot decide whether this is a picture about the bottom half and the sky above or the boat and distant mountains with water below dragging our attention away. I offer one possible recrop as a suggestion for improving this situation.Jerry Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 18, 2012 Lester,Nice image. It's serene and not over done. I tinkered a bit. I sharpened only the area around the boat, added some vibrance, and cropped a bit off the bottom. I hope you like these adjustments to your already successful image. Regards. Larry Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted January 25, 2012 Larry,Sorry for this rather late reply to your comment. Yes, I like the difference because I didn't know what to do with the rather open space in the foreground and your cropping makes the image more appealing.Best regards!Lester Link to comment
