GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted January 15, 2012 I really like this capture Chuck. Your skillful editing has rendered a very intriquing image(along with the title). I often wonder why cars are abandoned where they are (besides junk yards or those houses you find with numerous old wrecks scattered about).I love how the 'light' plays a pivotal role in this compositon; filtering through the leaves of the trees and also grazing it face on. So many 'stories' or 'reasons' why it sits the way it does, the door ajar. From the outside it doesn't seem to be in too bad of shape. It seems to be at 'home' where it is, and is not totally covered up with surrounding bushes. Perhaps there are those who still visit it yet.Warmest reagards on a fine composition,Gail Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 16, 2012 Absolutely surreal the way the old sedan glows in the underbrush. It looks like a scene out of The Twilight Zone. This is a helluva picture. Link to comment
color 3 Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks to all of you for your comments. This another HDR by the way and I did some painting in several areas to accentuate the comp. Link to comment
murphymj4803 0 Posted January 18, 2012 I like apparently everyone here really like this. The expertly way you chose to boost the color and saturation is excellent. Also, your choice of the bold colors with the old car (a 1952-53 Chevy?) is equally terrific. Link to comment
