While visiting Brookgreen Gardens at Murrel's Inlet (near Myrtle

Beach), about the only tree that had any profuse amount of blooms

was the Gardenia. It was lovely! I have only seen them as small

plants that I had taken care of while working in a Flower Shop or

while employed at White Rose in Canada. This tree was very

substantial and for me, a real treat to view. It was later in the day, but

some sunlight was filtering through the leaves of the tree. The

blossom was very close to the top of the photo, thus my crop was

tight. (Were I to be able to do it again, of course I'd re-compose the

image). Thankyou for your visit, most sincerely, Gail

Has spirit in it, not ghost, spirit! Pity we can't see the technical quality produced by your fancy equipment and especially the macro lens, but here we see a painting from the soul which is more important!

Best regards dear Gail!

I will try to post this image as was taken, was just in the mood for something artistic. (keeps the mind busy)

I still have a lot to learn about my 'fancy equipment' Pierre. It will be years before I am as experienced as you. But I am trying each day to learn more. Have been practicing when I've had time.

Thankyou for your visit and kind comments Pierre.

My sincere regards and thanks for your encouragement!, Gail

Dear Gail,

Very nice image. I like the PS effect employed here, it gives the photo a certain far-east atmosphere. Well composed and presented. Take care.

Warm Regards,

Holger

Hi Gail,

A wonderful accomplishment.

An artistic work, very well shot and presented.

The macro lens has many fine attributes that are different from normal lens.. Besides being designed for close focus capability , this macro lens design maintains imaging characteristics at other ranges as well.

This well color corrected lens, provides smoother transitions in the blended, out of focus regions of an image. This makes this image beautiful work of art.

Best Regards,  Mike
