GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted January 14, 2012 Excellent detail and use of light in this 'daily life' capture of these Fresh Fish that I imagine are at a market, just waiting to be bough by one of the many folk out for their daily market shopping. Your colours are surely 'true to life', as the 'blood' seems to be 'spot on'. I'm a bit squemish, but it is just that I am not used to seeing this. We have a few Butchers in town, and fresh fish at our Grocery Stores, but they are always washed off.I've never been to the big markets in Toronto, one day I hope to visit as I hear it is quite an experience.Very nice work Alex.Kindest regards, Gail Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 15, 2012 Hi Gail, it is not common in Singapore as well. But here in China they prefer their fish very fresh and so the fishmonger smear the fillet fish with the blood. Sometimes they even leave the heads there and it's still trying to breathe. Now that's really fiendish. Link to comment
