Lannie, I'll bet you got exactly what you wanted when you processed this.  Now it's simply a question as to 1) how many others like it, and 2) whether that does or should make any difference to you.  As for me personally, I think I'm going to really like it on some days when I'm thinking about photography in a more expanded sense, and l'll like it less on other days when I'm thinking about my own narrow sense of what I'm currently trying to get out of my own photography.

Thanks, guys.  About the only thing that I like about this version is that the cloud looks a bit like some old WWII photos made over the Pacific.  I almost expect to see some Japanese zeroes from that era coming in for an attack.

As for the structure at the bottom, there is something about this I like, in spite of the ping-pong effect from top to bottom, etc.  Execution has so far fallen far short of the vision, however.
