A fantastically interesting subject and nice colors. I like how this photo is composed ( the trees moving diagonally through the photo ) and the photo is very well exposed.

The colors seem a little muted though. I am used to the brilliant colors from your others photos so these seem like they are missing something although my bet would be this is exactly how they appeared.

Interesting subject and clarity from foreground to bg,I think the color of this stubs is really so and title is very good for this,best regards.

I visited this area about the same time of year, and I gave up because of the patchy snow that I found very distracting.  You have avoided that problem by having the petrified wood so prominent in the foreground and with clay hills rising in the background.  It's a great way to handle the patchy snow.

A nice scene.

While you used the 50mm at F/11, something that I avoid if possible, the results are effective here.
