Laurent, this is a great scene, i love the splashes of red, the horse whoe and the star number are a focal point, I would desaturate the bucket in the doorway so it does not compete with them. Cheers Richard

Thank you for the comment on this shot.As for a lush model,she would have to be tougher than my old D200 which kept freezing up with the -17C temperature and a wind factor pushing the feeling below the -25C mark;nice thought anyway.

Even if your fantastic D200 struggled with the freezing temperature, you still have managed to resurrect the warmth of stardom and luck from such derelict miserable dwelling.  Chapeau! C'est vraiment une tres belle photo et meilleurs souhaits pour la nouvelle annee 2012.  Bachir

I have a thing for old doors and would give anything to bring this one home! I love this photo but the one of the child with the man's hat is a close second. Beautiful, colorful portfolio.

Thank you for the visit and the kind comment.As for the door,I have been by it on a regular basis for the last five years and this is my first shot.Thought I might as well do it before it disappears as all these old abandoned barns are either falling down under snow loading or just being torn down.
