This ia a pretty good portrait. The expression is there and the lighting is very good, but there is something missing. Truthfully all  I see is a smiling lady. This would have made a good environmental portrait if you had included some of the background in the shot. 

I generally find this to be a nice image, but her arm and hand look huge. My guess is that you were pretty close to her and that made the parts of her that were closer to the camera look disproportionately large. IMHO this would look better if you cropped out her hand and most of the exposed arm. That would give this a more normal look. Avoiding this would mean shooting from further away and using a zoom. I know you can't always choose the conditions you shoot in. Maybe you couldn't be further away. I might have taken a similarly close photo if I had been in your position.
