These surfers literally risk their lives dropping into these waves. It's a thrill

to watch. This is the first winter swell large enough to create a break at

Jaws.

Timo, good eye, the waves were about 20 feet at the time I was there. They were bigger earlier,  but I did not roll out of bed early enough to catch it.  This JAWS surf site was the subject of a National Geographic article a few years back and there were waves 35-40 feet pictured there.

Very excited work.  I tried several times but all failed.  I wish I could do it one day.  Learning.  Best Regards,

Thanks Wanghan.  You have a lot of great photos that I enjoy.  It all takes time...practice.

Viewed large this is an awesome capture Dominick! The power behind these waves must be unimaginable. Meanwhile I love the colour of the water against the white swell.

Beauty shot, what a treat!

Warmest regards, Gail

Incredible image! The vantage point and the scale really enhance appreciation of the risk. Photonet will not let me give this the 7 it deserves.
