deb1 0 Posted January 5, 2012 After emergency surgery to see why she was soooo gravely ill, they discovered a peach pit she had swallowed back in the summer was blocking the opening to her small intestine. They did xrays back then to locate it but it was never found - until now, when it was almost too late! I never dress Josie up in costumes/outfits, but because her survival was my Christmas gift and she is feeling so wonderful now, I just had to do something to capture the happiness we both are feeling. Merry Christmas Josie, this "mama" loves you! Link to comment

DawsonPointers 362 Posted January 7, 2012 Hi Deb:I'm glad that you discovered the source of Josie's problem and that it was correctable. Keeping things out of these guys mouths is nearly impossible. Hattie was staggering on Boxing Day. We thought we were going to lose her until she puked up a bunch of wood from a stick she and Harry were competing for.Harry and Hattie wish Josie a speedy and full recovery.Regards, John Link to comment
