Thanks Dominick! I've been trying to sell this cheap lens but I am glad I had no taker and used it over the holiday. It seems that if the ISO is low enough and the f-stop is above f8 then the image turns out ok.  My birdshooter instinct tell me to shoot with the light behind me but for this shot the opposite is true. :-)

Had a few the other way and it does not look very good at all. The model is quite accidental, btw.

I like this shot very much but I made some changes as B&W, approach, crop and some more details I hope you dont mind, this is my point of view of this nice work best regads Jorge Luis

Thanks Niki! I think the color is more of high-keyed type  process and the b&w is low-keyed. I intentionally open up the lens a few more notch to get that high-keyed feel, btw.

Lovely luxuries spectacle! Only overexposure bothers me a bit! On the right part!
