dom1 1 Posted January 5, 2012 John, while I enjoy most of your art, every now and then one is breathtaking. Thanks! Link to comment
geoffpowers 0 Posted January 5, 2012 I am your biggest fan. I love your stuff. Your ingenuity with models flabbergasts me. This one, however, not so much. Just a little bit more mystery, maybe? Link to comment
John Peri 1,027 Posted January 6, 2012 I thought about your comment and very much appreciate it Geof, thank you, it is so important to have a balanced view. The model is natural and at ease, and I feel that the moderate exposure here is part of the atmosphere conveyed and is not done in any obvious manner with intent to add a sexual component to the message. Most certainly, there is a mystery to womanhood that should be cultured and maintained, but there is also an innocence and purity that should not be stigmatized as we are so often often led to do. I think that sometimes as artists we can push the barriers without necessarily falling off the cliff. This is my view and the models', since we have discussed these things, but I fully respect that others may not agree.Best wishes for the New Year, John Link to comment
