While in Myrtle Beach, along with the many Jelly Fish that got

washed ashore, we found a few Sea Urchins. I've always been

fascinated by these creatures. Turns out many others are also. We

spotted a crowd down the Beach, staring at something in the sand.

Of course our curiosity got the better of us and we waundered down.

I'm pretty sure this one was dead. A few years earlier I found one on

the same Beach, and the middle of it was 'undulating'. The Life

Guard identified this strange creature for me and told me that "Yes

you can take that home 'Little Lady', but it sure will STINK". I soon

decided the Ocean should continue to be it's home. (Thanks for your

visit, Gail)

Hi Gail,

Wonderful results, beautiful color tone and nice details.

Technically spot on using the 250mm at F/5.6.

Happy New Year !

Thankyou 'Professor'! I was hoping this image would be pleasing and I had the settings right!!!! Originally I thought it was taken with my Macro but when I looked at the file info and saw the Aperature, I was very upset at first, until I saw that I'd used my 55-250mm. (whew...wiped the sweat off my brow and had a good stiff drink!!! just kidding!!!).

So glad you liked the image. Many Happy New Year Tidings to you and Betsy also!!

Kindest regards, Gail
