Frangipani Dreams Revisited (View Larger)

I originally added Gaussian Blur to this image to "soften" it and make

it look "dreamy." I found that with the addition of the Pixel Bender

filter, it looked even softer.

This is so appealing.  A lovely composition with luscious color, great detail and refreshing use of image manipulation - a little goes a long way here.  The pixels look "bent just right."  Does have a hand painted look with this technique.  I'm not sure if I'm your best critique;  I struggle mercilessly with my florals.

leo, before making any comment on this one would like to see the original image first.  again your work just knocks my socks off.  all the best!

I believe this is the original but I took so many exposures that it's hard to tell. If this isn't it, it was almost exactly the same as this one.

leo, this would be another of those images that i take my hat off to you.  what you started with and what you have ended up with are just fantastic.  a salute thrown in just for the hell of it!
