marc_dilley1 0 Posted December 30, 2011 This image, shot on Christmas morning in 2007, was my first blend ever and as I gained more experience and skill with the technique, my dissatisfaction with my rendering of this incredible scene grew. This led me to recently reprocess the files. There are two exposures to work with, and the original Ps master file is a bilayer stack. My current reworking has eight layers - multiple processing of both exposures to include separate tweaks for sky highlights, a poorly colored area of the river on the left side, two ridge fill-in areas, and others. This reworking turned out to be surprisingly challenging due in large part to the high saturation of nearly the entire scene. Link to comment
