people: portraits and candid Langa Witch Doctor

This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 300 (with flash) using E100

VS slide film. The subject was the local traditional healer ("Witch

Doctor") in the Langa Township on the edge of Cape Town, South

Africa. The healer's room was filled with animal skins, bottled

liquids, and dried plants of all sorts. I like that the monitor lizard skin

was illuminated in the background. Feedback would be welcome.

Simply put, this is an excellent portrait and also an excellent documentary image,  All the elements work very well together.  Not an easy shot to take.  Very fine craftsmanship.
