I like the display of the  of this beautiful isolated , delicate flower.

I also like the "bokeh " seen in the background.

I like the 'alternative' primarily because the poppy is sharper. All the best.

Just the great color contrast is enough to draw me in. The poppy against the gray wall....nice.

Your stopped down version looks much better. In the original the background blur is excessive and the flower itself looks also unsharp, which is a pity because it's a beautiful image.

Lucky I put that one up.

 

For me, the blurrier one is not just better aesthetically - it is the virtuoso picture. The other one evidences a lot less skill and talent. Thanks José. Best, Jamie
