This image came from a very drab raw file I took a couple of weeks

back. Sometimes if I leave them and come back later, I see them in a

different light.

A little better when viewed large.

Viewing large does help considerably (as is nearly always the case).  I think this is a wonderful photograph.  The form of the tree and detail in the tree branches are great, and the tree is nicely placed in the frame.  The band of light against the clouds accentuates the tree perfectly.  The detail and color in the grass are very attractive.  There is some color in the sky that may be the result of processing, although it could also be natural (esp. to the left below the light band).  Your work on the raw file was well worth the effort.
