This is the inimitable and inestimable friend and model, the very, very intelligent Rita, holder of two advanced degrees, in between model shoots.  Your ratings, critiques and observations are invited and most welcome.  If you rate harshly, very critically, or wish to make a remark, please submit a helpful and constructive comment; please share your photographic knowledge to help improve my photography.  Thanks!  Enjoy!  John

The software reported there was no 'Request for Critique' when last I looked, none showed, and it accepted a new one, but made it into  a comment.

Please excuse the repetition.

However, anything complimentary said about Rita could be said twice ;~))

American men . . . . how would you like to find Rita under the Christmas tree clutching this towel.

Rita is quintessentially feminine; there's nothing even the slightest bit masculine, Tomboy, or 'one of the boys' about her; she delights in her femininity and would be most pleased that you are paying attention to her and her beauty.

Now, your wives and girlfriends, that's another matter.

And straight female members, sorry, no beefcake here, but I do have a link:

'The Muscle Man':

For the transgendered:

There are also some gays and lesbians but I'm not going to 'out' them.

However, see 'The Girl Kiss':

Something for darn near everybody's Christmas tree or holiday festivity fantasy.

'~))

Happy solstice holidays,

John

You say she "holds" "two advanced degrees"? I see her clutching only one. Or you mean "advanced degrees" like hot and hotter?  Is Rita another one of "those".  If my daughers looked like this I'd freak out. If my son looked like this I'd freak out even more. Under my tree? No thank you. Technically, off to the Recycle Bin for this one. In good fun but about the technicalities I am serious.

Rita is back by popular acclaim.

'Holds' two advanced degrees is true; she's extremely intelligent and highly educated.  She's also extremely pleasant; so much so  it's notable.

We've already celebrated her mammaries in her own separate folder here, so this just celebrates her expression, and all in good fun; nothing meant to try to impress anyone with my photo prowess here.

You can hunt for prior photos of Rita nude; I think you may have commented before, maybe not - she has a magnificent body (or did when I last posted nude photos of her, and I've lost track since then.)

I like her face -- it's noteworthy and unusual; I've only seen one other face similar to that in my life, and she stands out in a crowd.

When I first saw her, she was walking on a street with a friend, also a model, and I said, I wish women like that were coming to see me; I'm envious of whomever they're going to see.

In fact, they went to my building and then went to my flat and rang my bell right in front of me as I got off the elevator; they were coming to see me - I counted that as my lucky day and still do.

You once wrote you used to fetch drugs for your nude models; I prefer a different sort of nude model; Rita is a good exemplar.

You may think this belongs in the recycle bin -- yours perhaps, but not mine.

For me this is a keeper; I can only imagine what's in your recycle bin.

I've not seen Rita for a good while, but I'd love to run across her again; she used to drop by to share a meal, tea or just a chat and help me with other models, just for her practice in helping all at no cost to me and for the good company - a wonderful deal and nothing sexual at all between us (something her boyfriend, a businessman, could not understand - a heterosexual man and a beautiful woman being just 'friends').

Now if she's shown 'interest' things would have probably been much different, I think, but I read cues very well and am not aggressive.  I must be approached; I do not approach women; they must approach me as I'm entirely non aggressive -- it's safer that way and also keeps the ego from being bruised.

Happy holidays (and thanks for the kind note).

"Holds' two advanced degrees...extremely intelligent and highly educated...extremely pleasant..".  Ah, but can she shoot a machine gun, fight terrorists; be a sniper; work a check point; shop till she drops; and model at the same time?

If she were an Israeli, I am sure she would be the first to excel in all those things.

Rita is an exceptional talent or was when last I saw her.

Judge this one by the expression solely.

Rita was changing in the bathroom; this is the bathroom door.

I was fooling around, focusing with my 70-200 f 2.8, and knew she wouldn't mind, so when she called to me about something, I focused on the door, and when she opened it (her friend, a model, was inside) and opened it, I shot.

I posted this entirely for her expression, not her hand, or even for any other photographic merit, other than the fact it is shown as high-key b&w, because the colors and tones were so awful they demanded different treatment.

I am so busy taking photos and worry seriously about being seen giving 'payback' for those who critique me, that I seldom critique any more.

It's a full-time job just taking the photos I do, then downloading, working them up and posting them; to take on job as a critic for others now after eight years in which I did that substantially before (was even well known and respected for it).

To add that would seriously interfere with my output, and I ain't getting any younger.

For me, taking the photos now is essential; when I can't take any more, then I may turn critic again.

I've got a full load right now; I'm up to my ears in activities.

Thanks for the helpful suggestion.
