Waiting for Life

The contrasting colors of the dead beech leaves against the evergreens

and the greys of the trees really stood out with the sun on them.

Comments / thoughts appreciated.

Ray I think the image misses the boat here. You might have been more successful if you used a less depth of view (opened then lens up to it's max aperture) because the other twigs in the back are distracting.

There is something about the top left hand third of this photo that spoils an otherwise excellent effort.
