Cool Statues

The slow shutterspeed has really added a magical quality to another artists construction. Usually I don't like photographs of sculpture, but this is nice.

The static character of the statue against the fluidity of the water. Nicely brought together in a great photo !

And not a beer can in sight! ;) Seriously though -- the exposure on the water here is wonderful, the composition is great, and I like the colors too! I think you've added something nice to the sculpture too. Very nice!

I just realised that I have not replied to anyone about this photo. As I said in my recent request for a critique, it is an old photograph. It was posted in the days when I commented on the photos of others but did not reply to comments on my own pictures.

Kathy, beer cans feature in less than half of my photos. However I do like beer and I do like women. However, I do like to photograph a wide range of subjects and this is just one such example!

I like this photo a lot because of the lively expressions of the statues. The soft texture of the water and the rough surface of the statues interplay with each other well.
