The border is very simple to make using photoshop software. I am trying to give you a step by step explanation.

1. Open image with adobe photoshop software.

2. Go to image from the top tool bar and select canvas size.

3. A window will appear that allow you to choose the size of the border. Just enter the width and height size in the space provided.

4. Be sure that the relative box is checked

5. Choose the colour you want from the bottom part of the window and click ok.

Bravo!  This is a great pelican shot with lots of detail.  I like it. 

The dark background suits perfect with the white pelican. Sharpness and clarity also in top level. Well done, wonderful, artistic portrait. 

Great shot with lovely DOF,light & tons of details.Colours are also very much faithful too!
