The shiny reflection in the top of the needle makes this a strong picture.

Hi again, Ben.  It is funny that you mention that aspect of this image.  At first i thought about trying to remove that bright area, but then I realized that it added its own interest to the image, and supports the shininess of the sculpture.  Thanks again for stopping by my humble little world and providing me with your insights.  Take care, and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

I agree, it's the shine on the object, especially at night, that really sets it off.  There's not only the bright spot near the top, but the reflections of the individual lights wrapping around the base also set this apart from other night-cloaked elements.  I wonder what the artist was wanting to symbolize (if anything) with this structure.
