All C&C are welcome. This is one of my first efforts at STREET

photography. As a serious hobbyist I really appreciate any ideas that

would improve this shot. Thanks.

Cool shot.  That guy's putting in a lot of effort for something that won't last very long.  A suggestion for improvement might be to ease up on the shadow/highlight function, or whatever caused the halos around the trees.  You might even try cropping it at a tilt so that nothing but snow shows.  A unique image nevertheless.

Scott and Saad - good ideas.

Saad's crop is much better. The lake does not add any thing to the shot now that I see Saad's.

I did not see the halo until Scott pointed it out. I think the auto contrast must have done it. I will look out for that in the future.

Thanks for your time and thoughts.

I've never seen anyone go to so much trouble to make such a 'project' that could soon melt or be covered again with snow. But it truly is very attractive. Seems to be in the design of the Incas of the Ruins of the Maya. Good capture, the others have added their suggestions. I find this shot very interesting and different than what is usually seen for 'street'.

Kindest regards, Gail

Gail, thanks for the comment. You are right on - it was the unusual nature of what he is doing that made me pick up my camera and take the shot. Dave
