From a factory in Beijing. It's a tough job to make these vases, but the

result is exceptionally beautiful.

Very interesting picture. I like your kind of post processing. Best regards, Olaf

I'm don't like the heavy effects.  I think it would be better showing everything the way it looks.  (that said effects like this I generally don't care for anyway but this one bothers me more than most)

I would like to see a bit more face but not so much she is cheating to the camera.  Maybe a move a few inches to your right, that may be too far from your light source so not sure on that.

Thank you Shawn for your interesting point of view, but I have a totally different opinion. This photo is much closer than the original to how I experienced the situation there and then.  In my opinion a digital photo will never show everything the way it looks with no post processing, but more like how the producer of the camera wants you to see it.  Fact is, there are no heavy effects here. Just a careful adjustment of the colors, and I darkened an uneasy and disturbing background. Thats all. Thank you anyway, Shawn. This is an interesting discussion.

Best regards

Excellent take.Always delicate to take this type of shot where your subject is engaged in an activity needing full attention.Like the mostly grayish all-work upper portion of the photo with the colorful fruit of the hard labour in the lower left corner.Bravo for a shot well seen.

Salutations-Laurent

An impressive image . I like the array of finished work with their bright colours , contrasting with the rough fragments in the trays . I'm not sure if she is making the pots or polishing finished items , I can't understand what all the fragments are . The image needs to be viewed large to be appreciated and I would have liked a fuller explanation  . Good shot . Bill
