Chuck,

Don't worry about the scenery.  VERY well done image.  Tricky exposure handled well.  Your DOF adds a nice touch of emphasis as does the B&W tones.  Thanks for this one.

Oh yes, stage photos are tricky.  I think you have done a nice job here, but since you have presented this to us in BW, next time, I'd try to blur the background a little bit more, as, in my opinion, it is a bit too "messy" and is competing with the two ballerinas.
