Well hello!

Ben:  Cute.   One thing.  I notice that its left foot and the rock on the right appears out of focus.  Yet both his right foot and head that are before and after the middle position of the left foot are in focus. How can that happen?  Is there a distortion in the lens? Nice shot.

Hi Ben,

A  nice film capture, indeed.

The focus issue might be the film holder in the scanner, and a slight de-focus occurred during the process.

I doubt that the lens would be the issue unless it had some damage that resulted in a misalignment of the elements.
