Great image!  I know how difficult it is to make the birds appear so sharp.  Thanks for EXIF data, it helps.

Thanks Dominic! I think sharpness probably has a lot to do with the fact that I  use one single center focus point. It's hard to get them with one point quickly as they fly by but if you do get them it's right on the ... money. :-)

Also, I think using one single point will result in faster focusing and tracking as well and that's what we really need when we pan along with the bird/birds - a good focus lock!

Yes,incredible large view,a different moment from lot of other with same subject,way you manage focus make this so good and feel like 3d effect here,compliments.

Yeah, "Southward Bound" like to the nearest golf course! Really nice shot! You have some nice foliage there, kind of New England like.
