jimmcnitt 0 Posted May 9, 2003 Absolutely outstanding, David. I'm a real stickler on keeping the eye moving within a frame -- which becomes exceptionally difficult when there are three isolated subjects like this. But you've succeeded amazingly with the posture and poses of the flanking characters which directs the viewer's attention back to the center. I'm curious why the posterization treatment? It certainly works extremely well here. Was it an artistic decision, or was it part of some overall graphic design plan? Many thanks for your comments on so many of my postings. They are greatly appreciated and I value your opinion highly. I'll be hanging out in Puerto Vallarta for a week later in the summer, perhaps we can get together with a bottle of wine and swap tall tales? Best -Jim Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted May 9, 2003 ...Peta, P.G., Mari, Adam, Galina, Igor, Jim, Pedro for your always encouraging comments. Jim, about the posterization, yes it has been an artistic decision, the which I think gives also a little more of originality. And about swapping tall tales, I think it would be great, Jim. Keep in touch ! Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted May 10, 2003 Very nice. I agree with Jim that the flanking dancers (especially the left one) do such a nice job of pulling the eye back into the center dancers. Very original. Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted May 11, 2003 David: My wife, the keeper of the travel itineries, is herself travelling right now. When she returns with the calendar, I'll shoot you an e-mail with the dates. I think it's end of July or early August. Best, Jim Link to comment
