tonyfrench 0 Posted December 13, 2011 Pnina, it is certainly catches the eye. The positioning and gestures of the figures have a nice graphic quality, which is further enhanced by the blocks of color. I also like the placement of the wording and the way dis-ease is used. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted December 14, 2011 I love the photo. Extremely energetic, and the color only amplifies the action. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 15, 2011 The play on word with the hyphen in dis-ease is wonderfully clever as is the rotation of your photo to give a dynamic arrangement to the poster. A nice use of negative space to accent the graphic design aspect of the arrangement. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 15, 2011 Very nice ad showcasing your photo beautifully. The removal of context of your photo, its floating on the page works really well, accentuates the motion and the aspect of dance. It's very strong and Gordon is right that it works graphically well. The colors are bold and suit nicely the deliberate gestures of the dancers. Congratulations! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 16, 2011 Spencer, thanks the title is the choreographer/Sally one .I called it "uneasy" and from this came the dis- ease... Tonny thanks, I can say that it is a "co-production of Sally, the dancers the designer Dorit, and myself.Jeff thanks for all of them. I'm glad you liked it.Gord, the rotation was the designer idea and I liked the result. The end of the month it will be a full show.Fred, thanks as well. I'm glad you liked it and I hope the real show pre-premiere will be great as Sally' choreography is. Link to comment

3m 0 Posted December 17, 2011 Really lovely end result of this dance-brochure, Pnina - Congratulations! -- I too like the dynamics of this, emphasized by the rotation of your photo, and by the dancers' intriguing movements & gestures, you captured. The overall lay-out, and the way the colors & shapes are featured against the white BG, are definitely striking... Link to comment
