Road Hard

I like this Paul, my kind of picture.

Man, talk about a decisive moment!  I can just see the thoughts of remorse, regret, lost opportunities, and similar missed chances in life in his eyes.  When I think how fleeting this look may have been, and presuming he is a stranger to you and you're across from him in a public place with a camera in your hand.... this photo just becomes more and more amazing to me.  This is one I'd hang on my wall, simply because it epitomizes the situations of so many men of my father's generation, including my father.

Stephen, I watched him for awhile and even asked him a question or two. He had a guitar case and asked him if he was performing next or soon and he said no. His mood seemed constant. The place was alive with great blues music, but he didn't seem to notice.
