Jarod, thank you for taking the time to comment on my photo. I want to make sure I understand what you are saying though. Are you saying you don't like the print in Black and White or are you saying the print is too flat overall or are you saying that the sky and or background are flat? Just need some clarification if I am going to look at the print from your perpective. Again, thank you so much for having something to say.

This is a beautiful picture; the boy is perfectly positioned within the frame. He stands out sharply against the featureless background and blank sky. His smile illuminates the wasteland. It's a surprising and in a way, moving and life-affirming photograph. I'll just tuck it in my favorites.
