Nice one, again - as you can see the closer you get, the tighter the dof gets.

You might have better luck with f 32.  Hibiscus makes a healthy tea too..

Dominick,  its really nice seeing someone on a roll.  you have done the simple hibiscus justice with your explorations into its inner sanctum.  lovely work!

I agree that you are on a hibiscus roll. This is very beautiful. The next level is to take 3 or 4 shots focusing on the closest object and then use "Focus Stacking' which is very easy with Photoshop CS5.

Joscelyn, thanks for commenting.  I used the stacking on the first Hibiscus of this series, and it's as crisp as a small jpeg upload will allow.  I was going for more of a color and composition thing here, just playing around, like I did with the "Innocent" photo.
