Try the same shot with fill flash to get rid of the background. IMHO the bright white in the back is distracting.

Nice picture I love the background.

I like this one, the subject could be a little more clear/in focus, the little bit in the top right should go. I like the idea, the choice of background was good, Really like the DOF, would try to get the tree trunk on the right out of the frame.

Any comments or ratings are appreciated!

I find that the background is great and, together with the well chosen DOF, really makes this photo. What I find slightly annoying is the bit of blurred foreground flowers near the top right corner - but then, I have strong preconceptions against blurred foregrounds...

Nice shot Lou Ann. I took some recently as well, hopefully they will turn out as nice as yours has.
