I took a series of images of this guy "phlegming" (marking his territory) whilst the Ranger tried to get us closer, so the vehicle movement hampered the clarity I was hoping to achieve. When the vehicle did finally stop, so did the Lion, who then just walked off. A little disappointing in terms of accurate capture but an amazing experience nevertheless.

Hi Garyham,

A wonderful capture.

The facial expression does it for me.  The last thing I would be concerned about is how well I got the shot. My main concern was that I got out of there alive !

Nice work, my firmed.

best Regards,  Mike

Thanks for your input on this image. I mentioned, somewhere on PN that the carnivores of Africa have leaned about motor vehicle and have come to accept them as part of everyday life.... so whilst one is in the vehicle, one is safe, however, venture outside and it is a whole new ball game.

So, yes, I lived to tell the tale (smiles).

Thanks for stopping by............
