Great colors, and the small channel has its own personality:  S-shaped, with rock outcrops at two places, and reflecting the sky.  I think the photograph would be much more mellow without the moon, which is little more than a bright white dot in an otherwise uniform pastel sky.  In fact, if you cropped the top just under the moon, it would eliminate the distraction while at the same time bringing the viewer's eye down into the heart of the photograph (try scrolling up until the moon just leaves the screen).
