martinamm 0 Posted December 4, 2011 bottom side of a oyster mushroom. 12 single photos were stacked to increase the dof d7000 - sigma 150/2.8 macro - 1/2s - ISO 200 - f/11 Link to comment
brano_k 0 Posted December 4, 2011 What else to say? Everything is as close to perfect as possible, even that small, missing piece of the rim. And I have to add that my search through the fridge did not yield any suitable mushrooms, so attempt to replicate this will have to wait. 7, all the way. Link to comment

johnolsen 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Fantastic image. Your composition is wonderful with the lines and curves, the color is natural and you succeeded very well with your DOF work. Very nice job! Link to comment

Timo Hartikainen 548 Posted December 7, 2011 Very nice patterns. I was thinking cropping from right, so that the missing rim spot disappears, but I'm not sure about that. Link to comment
martinamm 0 Posted December 7, 2011 to all your comments and ratings.@Timo: I think the missing rim spot makes the photo interesting. Without it looks to me too perfect and not natural, like the spider webs on the upper left side. But thanks for your suggestion Link to comment
dom1 1 Posted December 15, 2011 Very creative, love the textures. I always have that battle, deciding if a flower looks too perfect. Usually, I clean it up. In this photo, the piece missing allows the viewer to know what the subject is. Either way, I have to say it's a 7 for composition and originality. Link to comment
