Pierre Dumas 258 Posted December 3, 2011 This guy represents me at my 16 when I used to get out in the yard of the old house of my grandparents and developed dream stories about my first love on the moonlight! The object of my dreams was a cute girl I was seeing on the main street of the old town, we were only exchanging looks and smiles, sometimes I was daring enough to say "hello sweetheart" and she was only saying "hello", smiling so sweet and making my heart melt with that smile! She is now my wife!PDE Link to comment

JamieK 1 Posted December 3, 2011 Very good, Pierre. Very good. Congratulations. A storm surges behind those vacant eyes. I like the luminescent "13." When you say, "Now she is my wife," it sounds like you got married recently. I'm guessing that you've been married to her for 30 years or so, though?? best, jamie Link to comment

mike_palermiti 0 Posted December 3, 2011 Hell Pierre,I now understand your attraction to romantic moonlight scenes or using the Full Moon in some of your other works. For, me, I have always viewed the moon in a scientific way, so the technical studies are my passion. We both have approaches centered around the moon. Yours are wonderful artistic presentations, mine are showing the smallest resolvable details ,Nice work my friend.Best Regards, Uncle Mike Link to comment

swede621 0 Posted December 3, 2011 A very nice shot, Pierre. I can plainly see that the moon light is coming from the right. Creates a very special mood. The best part for me was your explantion of the shot.Well done my friend... Link to comment
Dana C Doherty 398 Posted December 3, 2011 Pierre, "Mi Maestro",You continue to inspire me and others.I love the slight differences in the amount of light on his face; it is almost divided into 2 halves. I love the connection of the red lips, the shirt and the house behind him. He seems almost to have stepped out of the picture and onto the computer screen they way you have positioned him against the background.Saludos, amigo,Dana Link to comment

alfbailey 1 Posted December 4, 2011 You are what's known as a "hopeless romantic" but then I think theres more of them about than apparent at first glance. Great story that intensifies the appreciation of the dream like expression.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted December 4, 2011 Without your declaration this would be viewed totally different....now we see the young love-struck guy waiting for a glimpse of his beloved.......Bravo! Link to comment
garethleyland 0 Posted December 4, 2011 Pierre, a very interesting heart warming story. The lighting here is intriguing, the right side of the face is brighter yet the shadows on the wall indicate the light source is way to the left. Very well presented.Best regardsGareth. Link to comment

wolfgangarnold 142 Posted December 5, 2011 a wonderful, romantic story - when looking at the photo, I first read all the signs rather in an evil direction: his ('your') absent gaze, cold hues, dark shadows, the number 13,... so, the happy end is a nice, surprising twist in your story.cheers, Wolfgang Link to comment
Eystein 1 Posted December 7, 2011 I get the feeling of the moon beeing full, and the guy will be going for my throat any minute. Scary.Best regardsEystein Link to comment
