Artistic and beautiful......very clever title.  I think the blown out white places work for this image.....it takes on a little more of an abstract look.  You have some lovely flower images in your portfolio.

Art, a lovely piece of work,  with gorgeous colors and a carnival atmosphere.  is really nice seeing a image with your name beneath it.

I'm so sorry I missed this one earlier in December, it is stunning! /soft like a 'cotton ball' yet with beautiful pinks and dazzling lights that are the Stamens!!

Love your chosen Crop Art.

Well done!

Kindest regards, Gail

Is photo.net doing variations on a theme for its POTWs now? This looks like a bad attempt to emulate last week's POTW, even though this one was made two years ago.

There are very few, if any, elements that are in focus here. There's no discernable (to me) depth of field. The colors sort of just seem randomly splashed across the image. It makes me wonder if there was even a lens on the camera.

Nothing for me to see here...guess I'll move along.

With all due respect to Jim, I like the shallow depth of field. Looks like a mimosa blossom, but I don't know that it matters what species it is.

I couldn't remember last week's at first, and so I went back and looked at it:

They are both photos of flowers, but there the resemblance ends for me. Oh, well, one likes what one likes. . . .
