Steve, I like this a lot. I could waffle about metaphors but it just works for me - the stark water fountain against the soft bg are beautiful.

Very interesting image. The sharp fountain stands out against foggy background. The tree adds another point of interest. Nice abstract depiction of fog and snow. Best wishes... Sandeep

I can see why you were drawn to this scene.  And the way you composed the photograph is magnificent.  The crisp clear black of the fountain in the center is lovely.  The little spout at the top of the fountain leads your eye right into the foggy tree in the background.  I also like the tension created by the rectangles on the ground and the fountain shape compared to the free forms of the tree branches.  I think this is gorgeous.
